What is the Consular Process?
- Consular Processing is the way an applicant receives an immigrant visa to come to the U.S.
- After the applications are approved, they are transferred to the National Visa Center.
- The National Visa Center will transfer the case to a U.S. Embassy where an interview takes place to determine the person’s eligibility for an immigrant visa.
